Cher Cope & Melissa Devereux share some insight on their  plans to reach TEAM 33's fundraising goal early this year! 

 

Team 33 has walked as a family team for three years.   The two team captains have had some great fundraising success and a great team of registered walkers support them on walk day.  This year Melissa and Cher are really focused on a few BIG fundraising events for their team as well as FAMILY TEAM SUPPORTERS. 

"We have two big things happening in the next couple of weeks.  On this Saturday, March 15th, we are having a garage/yard sale at my house in Carrollton.  All proceeds from the sale will go directly to MOD.  We have had such a great response to this garage sale!  Tons of our friends and families have donated goods for our cause.  So much so that my staging area is starting to overflow.  We will be selling everything from clothes to electronics to sporting equipment to bedding to everything else!   If this GREAT weather holds, we should have an amazing sale day!  We are anticipating a lot of traffic! The second thing we have going is a Stella and Dot trunk sale.  Amanda McCaffry (Running for Aidan) is our rep and is generously donating her commission on items sold to our team.  Teams helping Teams - it really doesn't get any better than that!"

This year the team has really focused efforts on Family Team Supporters.  Melissa sent out more than thirty of the FTS Sample letter we shared and the team has already received a Bronze Level Sponsor.  Being Creative, increasing awareness and working with other teams has really proven succesful for these ladies and Team 33.  I hope this is helpful to you and your family team.  Please feel free to ask any questions you might have in our Comments section. 

ONE MONTH TO GO AND THE BEST FAMILY TEAMS ARE RIGHT HERE IN. TX WITH THAT COMBINATION WE ARE DESTINED TO SURPASS OUR FUNDRAISING GOALS TO HELP BABIES!!!
